EXPERIENCE PROFILE

I am a chartered town planner with significant experience working between the public and private sectors. I have been directly responsible and involved with a wide range of planning and development functions for individual clients, major developers and a variety of nationally recognised companies. I have particular experience in the following areas:

-Submitting and dealing with major and minor planning applications for various types of developments;
-Providing planning advice to clients and pre application planning advice to members of the public;

-Dealing with S106/S38/S278 agreements;
-Dealing with enforcement issues;
-Dealing with and negotiating affordable housing provisions on major residential sites;
-Performing sequential site assessments and sustainability appraisals;
-Submitting and dealing with planning appeals, via written representations, hearing and inquiry;
-Discharging planning conditions and conforming to S106/S38 agreements;
-Interpreting Environmental Impact Assessments;
-Submitting and dealing with Environmental Impact Screening and Scoping Opinions;
-Dealing with Minerals and Waste developments;
-Submitting and dealing with Local Plan/Local Development Framework representations;
-Retail Impact Assessment;
-Producing and interpreting Development Briefs;
-Engaging in community consultation procedures, attending public exhibitions and participating in public meetings
